Our product is currently in development. The HemaVision is software that helps expert thermographers do more image diagnostics using thermography and will help expand the market for predictive maintenance (PdM) with thermography.

May 2013 – Incorporated Hema Imaging to help make thermal imaging easier to use

August 2014 – First Kickstarter for a smartphone attachment, failed to meet funding goal.

Winter 2014-2015 – Revamped strategy to focus on working with professionals to help them deal with increasing workload by getting their expertise into a new kind of smart thermal imaging camera.

April 2015 – Second Kickstarter, with a conceptual design aimed to meet the needs of both consumers and professionals with the same smart camera, funded May 5th with $134,000.

Summer 2015 thru May 2016 – developed manufacturable smart thermal camera while developing customers and partners in the professional thermography space. Iterative development of software solution for thermographers gradually revealed a divergence between the needs of consumers and professionals.

May/June 2016 – After the loss of two key hardware components, we were faced with a redesign effort requiring more time and expense than budgeted. Paused development while we investigated options.

July 2016 – Given the expense and changes in the low-cost market over the last year, we informed backers of our decision to halt further development of the Kickstarter camera, and to refund their pledges from remaining funds or provide a discount on our future camera.

Expected December 2016/January 2017 – pilot of software focused on helping professional thermographers do their most important work.
